Construction progress continues at Avenida del Sur roundabout

SANTA FE, N.M., Sept. 22, 2026—After delays due to relocating utilities, the roundabout at Avenida del Sur and A Van Nu Po was opened to residential traffic on Friday, Sept. 18.  

The roundabout is finished with the first layer of asphalt and will remain open to traffic while the last layer of asphalt is installed in the Spring. During that construction, flaggers will be onsite to help the flow of traffic, and the work is expected to take a few days to complete at that time.

Concrete medians are being placed this week as weather allows. All lighting is operational.
